Penis extender devices are one of the most popular enlargers out there for a good reason. They are an extremely consistent way to add inches to your member and do so in a relatively short time period. In just a few months you can be the man you never thought you could be! If you have started to consider the notion of getting a penis extender and have done your research, you have discovered there are two distinct variations of the device on the market today.

Clinical trials have proven the fantastic results that you can achieve however extenders have certainly evolved since they first hit the market. So what is the difference between these two types of penis extenders and which is the best choice for you? Lets look at the two types individually.

Penis Extender Devices – The Silicone Noose Variety

First lets look at the traditional penis extender. The base is just a large padded circle with the posts welded on (on lesser versions) or screwed on (on better versions). These posts are a set length and at the top is a “slider” which runs along the posts. This slider will have attached to it a small silicone loop that sits behind the crown of your member. All in all this is a very effective layout but it does have some major issues. Firstly this design does not allow for the extension of the runner rods to a longer length. This means that if you maximize the gains you are able to make with the device and you want to continue growing, then you have to buy a new device to keep growing larger. The base of the device is also not very comfortable when pressing against the pelvis. The most important drawback however is in the design of the loop or “noose”. The use of a silicone ring is outdated. Not only does it cut into the top and sides of the organ causing a massively uncomfortable feeling during use, but also it can hinder circulation to the head of the member. This is not only uncomfortable but also dangerous if the circulation is impeded for an extended period of time such as wearing the device overnight.

Penis Extender Devices – The Newer Better Way

Now lets look at the other version of the penis extender. This newer version is most commonly referred to as a “comfort strap” style. The best representation of this type of device is the SizeGenetics Extender. These newer versions are not only able to reduce the risk and discomfort associated with older extenders, but are significantly more effective. Firstly the base of these newer models is ergonomically designed to contour to the pelvic shape of a man’s anatomy. This means that as tension is applied and pressure on the base increases, you will not notice any discomfort.

You will also notice that with these newer designs that the runner rods are segmented. This serves two purposes – first it allows the device to be extended so that as you grow longer, so does the device. This means that you can keep growing as long as you want to, and get as big as you want to. Secondly this means that the whole device can be broken down for easier cleaning and storage. The most significant change you will notice between the older style and the newer one is the design of the “slider”. On the newer models the design of the slider is shaped more to the natural curvature of a grown man’s organ. You will notice that the loop or “noose” design has also been replaced with a more updated design using a comfort strap instead of the loop. This system is not only more comfortable than the previous version but is also more effective for making your penis larger and has less risk associated with its use.

So as you can see a lot has changed since the first devices hit the market! Why some men continue to use these cheaper, less effective and uncomfortable systems is a wonder. There are so many better alternatives on the market today and the results they deliver are far superior.
